And now, freelancing
After almost eight years working straight out the university, gaining experience and solving challenges, it is now finally the time to become a freelancer!

After almost eight years working straight out the university, gaining experience and solving challenges, it is now finally the time to become a freelancer!
A bit of history
It was October of 2016 when I started working officially at Direct Solutions. I have previously worked from August 2015, with Stavros Tsourlidakis, on Hermes-V, the company's first product that had its roots on our work in DSG.
For more than three years (four if you count the DSG era), after Stavros's departure, I was happily developing alongside my now dear friend Nikos Lampiris, vehicle industry oriented services and solutions. They were the best years of my career, being given challenges and solving them through reading, experimentation and collaboration. Our biggest achievement was the qualification to the final stage of SAP Startup Focus and the grant that came with it.
SAP Startup Focus was the reason first contact with my soon-to-be next employer, Real Consulting. After a few months of collaboration between Direct Solutions and them, and with the acceptance of all three parties, I moved to OneDealer, a Real Consulting subsidy at 2020.
The next four years in OneDealer where the years that I matured as an engineer. With them I learned what it means to be a part of a larger team, to live with stand ups, meetings, taking responsibility and learning new techniques and getting experience. While the journey was not perfect, the connections and friendships I made that period will be forever remembered and revisited for the rest of my life.
The next step
Today is the day that I have chosen to make the next step in my career. For the moment I have no plans other than that I will eventually become a freelancer.
The next months I am going to enjoy a life free from obligations. I have already planned visiting Hungary, Slovakia and Austria in March, Japan in April and Germany and the Netherlands in May.
After that I will finally start developing Σε Απλά Ελληνικά and start looking for potential partnerships.
Can't wait to see what the future entails
