The Past

In 2009, when I first began to take steps into the world of Information Technology, as soon as I understood the possibilities that this field of technology offered, I knew what I wanted to do and build a career in.

2009 gave way to 2011, when I was accepted into the former T.E.I. of Lamia, later T.E.I. of Central Greece, and now the University of Thessaly, in the Department of Information Technology Engineering. There, I built the logic and laid the first foundations of my programming world.

It was there in 2014 that I met the professors and fellow students with whom we would eventually form the Decision Systems Group, and with whom we would participate in Crowdhackathon #insurance 2016, where we took first place.

Through these connections, a little later in 2016, I started as an intern at Direct Solutions, initially joining the team that developed Hermes-V and later as a Software Engineer, taking on DevOps responsibilities and developing, among other things, Need4Car, the Car Sharing platform.

And somewhere around there, 2020 found me, along with Covid-19, and the latest – so far – step, which is none other than OneDealer.

The Present

With five years of experience in the field and a decade of involvement, I decided to start something of my own. Something that would not distract me from my full-time job but would allow me to pursue the projects I always wanted to but never had the opportunity to.

For this reason, we established Prantas General Partnership with my sister on October 11, 2021.

The Future

Having overcome the hurdle of legal entity formation, the path is now open for the first projects that have been shelved for some time.

The beginning will be made with "In Plain Greek," an educational video series that will have seasonal themes, starting with the Internet for the 2022-2023 season.

At the same time, YAMM (Yet Another Money Manager) will be developed for internal company use, aiming to become a commercial application in 2023.
